Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration: Australia Preorder Guide (16 September 2026)

Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration is the 30th-anniversary expansion, releasing worldwide on 16 September 2026 in the first global same-day Pokémon TCG launch. Every card in the set is foil, each pack holds six cards instead of five, and a brand-new Futuristic Rare rarity debuts. This guide covers what is in the set, the sealed products, and how to preorder in Australia. Last updated 9 June 2026.

What is Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration?

30th Celebration is a special anniversary expansion marking 30 years of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The Pokémon Company is launching it on the same day across every region for the first time, so Australian collectors open it at the same moment as the rest of the world. The set runs to roughly 150 cards before secret rares.

What makes the set different

  • Every card is foil, including Basic Energy. There are no plain cards in the set.
  • Packs hold six cards, one more than a standard pack.
  • A new Futuristic Rare rarity debuts, with artwork by Japanese artist YOSHIROTTEN. Mewtwo ex and Mew ex were the first two revealed.
  • 30 different Pikachu cards. Each booster pack includes one of 30 unique Pikachu illustrations, one for each year of the game.

How to preorder 30th Celebration in Australia

  • Reserve early. A worldwide same-day launch pulls global demand onto release day, so sealed product can sell out fast. A preorder locks your allocation at the right price.
  • Decide what you want before launch. An Elite Trainer Box suits a player or a returning fan, a booster display suits someone opening lots or keeping sealed, and the Premium Deck Set suits players who want to sit down and play straight away.
  • Buy sealed from a trusted Australian seller so you pay AUD and skip overseas shipping and customs delays.
